Law Professor and Author Adam Winkler to Discuss Book in Kansas City

UCLA Law Professor Adam Winkler will discuss his book “We the Corporations: How American Businesses Won Their Civil Rights,” from 12:00-1:30 p.m., Friday, September 13, 2019, at the Charles Evans Whittaker Courthouse, Kansas City, Missouri. The book was a finalist for the 2018 National Book Award, the 2018 National Book Critics Circle Award and the ABA Silver Gavel Award. 

The event is being hosted by the Western District of Missouri Historical Society, Howard Sachs Chapter, with assistance from Shook, Hardy & Bacon. Autographed copies of Winkler’s book will be for sale at the event, courtesy of Rainy Day Books in Fairway, Kansas.
