Shook Partner Schwartz to Speak at COVID-19 Liability Shields Webinar

Shook Partner and Co-Chair of the Public Policy Practice Group Victor Schwartz will be speaking in the webinar, “COVID-19 Liability Shields: Shaping our Legal System to Withstand Pandemic Lawsuits,” September 10, 1:00 p.m. ET (12:00 p.m. CT). Schwartz will be one of three panelists discussing a proposal in the COVID-19 relief bill in Congress, along with separate state proposals, that could provide protection for businesses and institutions who follow government guidelines but still could be the target of pandemic lawsuits. The webinar is being presented by the Committee for Justice.
