Shook Promotes 14 Attorneys to Partner

Shook announces its 2021 class of 14 new partners. Many of these new partners have accumulated multiple victories in courtrooms across the country and all reflect the rich talent within the firm. The following attorneys are new partners at Shook, effective March 1, 2021.

Razvan Axente focuses on the defense of corporations in individual and complex tort, product liability and consumer protection matters.

Marty Bax focuses his practice on complex product liability litigation with an emphasis on defending tobacco companies in wrongful death and personal injury lawsuits. 

Eric Boos is an accomplished litigator with a practice focused on complex commercial matters, including consumer class actions and multi-district litigation, construction defect, employment, privacy and data security, product liability and unfair competition. 

Joan Camagong represents clients in product liability, consumer protection and warranty actions. She defends clients in both federal and state courts as well as in MDLs and state-court-coordinated proceedings. 

Mike Cappo’s nationwide practice includes defending clients sued for product liability, tort, negligence, consumer protection, fraud, business litigation, automotive liability and premises liability, and counseling clients on mitigating risk with effective contracts. 

Matt DePaz focuses on the defense of companies in complex product liability and class action litigation. Matt has represented numerous product manufacturers in federal and state jurisdictions, including multidistrict litigation and coordinated state court proceedings.

Ashley Harrison focuses on representing clients nationally in commercial disputes and employment matters. 

Madison Hatten defends multinational companies in complex product liability litigation, focusing especially on claims involving pharmaceuticals and medical devices.

Katherine Mastrucci focuses on the defense of Fortune 100 companies in pharmaceutical and medical device product liability litigation and environmental/toxic tort litigation.

Colman McCarthy advises clients across the country on their obligations under both domestic and international privacy and data security laws, including all 50 state data breach notification laws.

Bill Northrip focuses his practice on defending major companies in high-stakes complex product liability litigation with a focus on legal issues, error identification and preservation, and appellate litigation.

Anitra Raiford focuses on all stages of complex business, class action and product liability matters for companies in the automotive, consumer goods, insurance, pharmaceutical and tobacco industries.

Jeff Schnayer has prosecuted patents related to semiconductors, power conversion, solid-state memory, lighting, touch-screen devices, radio communication and software, and he has counseled clients in various aspects of patent law, including patent infringement and validity analysis, design-around and freedom to operate.
