Shook Is Proud to Support Harvesters in Food From the Bar Campaign

For the past eight years, Harvesters has partnered with local law firms in its “Food From the Bar” campaign to fundraise and host food drives in an effort to provide consistent access to food for underserved families, children and seniors in the Kansas City area. Harvesters has reached out to Shook for the 9th annual Food From the Bar campaign. This is an exciting opportunity to join Harvesters and the Kansas City legal community for one purpose: to end hunger in our region, which has dramatically worsened as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Prior to the COVID-19 pandemic, Harvesters distributed more than four million pounds of food per month. Now, that number has climbed to more than six million pounds per month. The pandemic has created unprecedented hardship to countless families and your support is needed now more than ever. We invite you to come together to support our mission, take care of your neighbors, and feed the need.

This year, the campaign will once again focus on a Virtual Food Drive to raise funds. From April 1 to May 31, you can donate online.
