LABJ Selects Automotive Defense Litigator Among Leaders in Law
For the second year in a row, The Los Angeles Business Journal recognized Partner Michael Mallow as a qualified nominee in litigation for the publication’s “Leaders in Law” award. Winners will be announced during an upcoming live virtual ceremony on Wednesday, November 17.
Mallow co-leads Shook's Class Action and Appellate Practice. For more than 20 years, he has defended automotive companies and manufacturers against unexpected litigation ranging from product recalls to advertising claims. Through strategic litigation and counsel, Mallow has secured wins for national automotive clients saving companies and manufacturers time while safeguarding their reputations. You can watch a short video, narrated by Mallow, to learn more about the challenging legal questions facing the automotive industry. In 2019, Mallow and a number of other class action defense and commercial litigation lawyers opened Shook’s Los Angeles office where he serves as managing partner.
Nominated attorneys will be recognized for “exceptional legal skill and achievement across the full spectrum of responsibility, exemplary leadership and contributions to the Los Angeles community.” Previously, Mallow was named among the LABJ’s “LA500,” a list of the most influential people, across a wide variety of industries.
