Shook Partner Named President of Association of Business Trial Lawyers

Shook Partner Michael Mallow has been named president of the Association of Business Trial Lawyers (ABTL), Los Angeles. Mallow has been on the Board of Governors for the Los Angeles chapter for ten years and held many positions.

The Association of Business Trial Lawyers (ABTL) was founded in Los Angeles, California to develop a better forum for the discussion of business trials. The ABTL provides a forum in which litigators and judges meet together to address issues important to business trial lawyers.

Mallow is the managing partner of Shook Los Angeles and is co-chair of the firm’s Class Action & Appellate Litigation Practice Group. He also has served as outside counsel to the State Bar of California on issues related to its member programs. Mallow regularly counsels clients on marketing and advertising issues, and has substantial experience in the automotive and consumer products industries.
