Shook Lands in LABJ Legal Column for West Coast Growth

The Los Angeles Business Journal featured Shook’s newest litigation addition in its legal column. Writer Zane Hill calls the group’s move to Shook “a Century City shake-up.” Hill wrote, “Kansas City-based Shook, Hardy & Bacon LLP beefed up its national litigation practice in a move that added Jan Dodd and Steven Weisburd to their Los Angeles operation.”

In April, in addition to Dodd and Weisburg, Shook added Ryan Cobb in Miami and Ashley Drumm in Atlanta. 

“Shook’s powerhouse offerings, including product liability and class action, fall right in our wheelhouse,” Weisburd said. “I’m excited to be part of this nationwide highly respected team. It feels like home to us.”

Shook has recently welcomed Alycia Degen and Michael Shortnacy to the firm’s Los Angeles office which is led by Partner Michael Mallow.
