Orange County Volunteers with Surfrider Foundation

Shook Orange County adopted the Surfrider Foundation as its volunteer organization in 2025. Founded in 1984, the Surfrider Foundation has evolved into one of the largest non-profit organizations with a volunteer-activist network dedicated to protect the oceans, waves and beaches. It focuses on plastic reduction, water quality, beach access, beach and surf spot preservation, and sustaining marine and coastal ecosystems.

Shook Partners Laura Booth, Tom Wynsma and Associate Kevin Fitch, alongside their families, participated in the foundation’s Seal Beach Native Plant Restoration Project.
