Shook Partner Named to KC Tomorrow Leadership Class
Shook Partner Paul Vogel was selected by the Civic Council of Greater Kansas City to join the 47th class of its Kansas City Tomorrow (KCT) leadership program. Vogel is one of 30 distinguished executives throughout Kansas City selected to participate in the 10-month program. The program is designed to equip business and community leaders with the insights and connections needed to drive regional progress.
At Shook, Vogel practices in intellectual property, with a focus on patent prosecution and post-grant proceedings. He manages attorney teams in drafting and prosecuting patents both domestically and internationally. Vogel is also active in pro bono representation and litigation, representing defendants as a special public defender through the Missouri Coalition for the Right to Counsel.
Initiated in 1978, KCT was designed to identify and cultivate future generations for civic engagement from the ranks of Kansas City’s up-and-coming business and community professionals. During the program, Vogel will participate in curriculum that focuses on strategies to improve economic stability, workforce development, public policy, advocacy, equity and inclusion.
