Shook Partner Selected as Fellow of Litigation Counsel of America
Shook Partner Eric Hobbs has been named a Fellow of the Litigation Counsel of America (LCA). The LCA is an invitation-only trial lawyer honorary society established to reflect the new face of the American bar. Less than one-half of one percent of American lawyers are invited to join the prestigious group. Hobbs was selected as a Fellow following an evaluation for effectiveness and accomplishment in litigation and trial work, along with ethical reputation.
Based in Shook’s Denver office, Hobbs’s practice is focused on high-stakes litigation and trials throughout the United States. He frequently represents companies as plaintiffs seeking affirmative recovery against other businesses and has helped clients achieve hundreds of millions of dollars in verdicts and settlements.
Hobbs is also involved in his community, serving on the Board of Directors for Breakthrough TD1 (formally JDRF), an organization focused on finding a cure and treatments for type 1 diabetes. Earlier this year, the Denver Business Journal included Hobbs in its 40 Under 40 list for his leadership and community involvement.
