Shook Attorneys to Speak at Global Class Actions Symposium
Partners Michael Mallow and Amir Nassihi will be speaking in London at the 2025 Global Class Actions Symposium, November 18. The two-day class actions event takes place at 8 Northumberland Avenue and will be broadcast live online for delegates preferring to attend virtually. Mallow is speaking on a panel discussing U.S. class actions, and Nassihi on product liability claims. Both Mallow and Nassihi are co-chairs of Shook’s Class Action and Appellate Litigation Practice Group. Details on both panels are as follows.
“Class Actions in the USA”
Debates over funding, the White House’s ongoing regulatory bonfire and a sophisticated consumer-rights landscape all contribute to making the USA the world’s most dynamic jurisdiction for class actions. This panel of world-leading attorneys will discuss all.
“Product Liability Claims”
The history of class actions is littered with product liability claims, from Dieselgate to the ongoing opioid crisis which has impacted the lives and livelihoods of so many in North America. This panel delivers the very latest thinking in this crucial sector.
The fifth annual symposium is hosted by Global Legal Group, an independent London-based legal media company focused on providing relevant, real-time primary legal, regulatory and policy information and reporting to businesses worldwide.
