Shook Partner Honored as Woman of Influence by LABJ

Shook Partner Karyn Ihara has been honored in the 2026 Women of Influence: Attorneys list by the Los Angeles Business Journal. She was recognized for exceptional legal skill and achievement and for contributions to the Los Angeles community.

Ihara has significant experience handling state and federal trials and arbitration proceedings. She is a trusted strategic advisor to her clients and regularly handles high stakes motion practice, complex discovery and case strategy development.

Outside of her practice, Ihara serves as president of the Asian Pacific American Women Lawyers Alliance where she previously served as a board member and is a member of the Japanese American Bar Association.
