Karyn has extensive experience defending automotive manufacturers in consumer litigation and class action matters. Her practice includes significant experience handling state and federal trials and arbitration proceedings. Karyn is a trusted strategic advisor to her clients and regularly handles high stakes motion practice, complex discovery, and case strategy development. She frequently appears in court, conducts and defends depositions, participates in mediations and settlement conferences, and negotiates resolutions that align with her clients’ legal and business objectives. Karyn is also a frequent speaker on automotive litigation trends, including developments and practical impacts arising from California’s AB 1755.
Karyn previously served as a law clerk for the Hon. Howard L. Halm and the Hon. Gail Ruderman Feuer of the Los Angeles County Superior Court where she drafted over 2,000 tentative orders for personal injury, premises liability, medical malpractice and product liability actions. She earned her J.D. from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles, where she worked her way through law school as a full time assistant director of Career Services.
