Partner Bill Walberg Receives Up & Coming Award from Missouri Lawyers Media

Shook Partner Bill Walberg has been named among Missouri Lawyers Media’s (MLM) 2026 Up & Coming Awards. The Up & Coming Awards recognize young attorneys who are making a positive difference in the practice of law in Missouri and whose outstanding contributions have them on the track for success.

Walberg focuses his practice on product liability litigation in both individual and complex litigation. He works in all stages of litigation, including discovery, motion practice and trial. Walberg has served on numerous case teams and trial teams in the defense of personal injury and wrongful death matters in state and federal jurisdictions across the country.

Outside his practice, Walberg serves as the vice president of the board of directors of SAVE, Inc., a nonprofit that helps provide housing solutions for those who are socially and medically disadvantaged, with an emphasis on people living with HIV/AIDS. He also is a member of the LGBTQ Bar Association of Greater Kansas City and the LGBT Chamber of Commerce.

MLM will honor Walberg at an awards ceremony on October 21.
