For more than a decade, Jeremy’s practice has focused on discovery and information governance. Jeremy advises clients on best practices for preservation, collection, processing, review and production as part of the discovery process. He has experience in preparing and negotiating protective orders, document production protocols and other discovery-related materials, as well as opposing “discovery on discovery” efforts. Jeremy also regularly litigates significant discovery disputes.

Jeremy represents and advises several of the world’s largest life sciences companies, financial services organizations and retailers. Over the course of his career, Jeremy has defended lawsuits in multidistrict litigation as well as individual cases pending in state and federal courts across the country. He has participated in all phases of litigation, from early case assessment and fact and expert discovery through judgment, appeals and resolution.  

Jeremy is actively involved in the eDiscovery legal community and dedicates a portion of his time to tracking relevant market and technology trends to better serve his clients. He is a preeminent speaker and thought leader on eDiscovery issues. Jeremy is the author of the Electronic Discovery Institute publication Discovery Cases that Count, which covers over 1,300 of the most impactful discovery cases from the past three decades. He is also the author of the Practical Law resource Document Retention Policy Checklist; a co-author of the eDiscovery chapter in Product Liability Litigation: Current Law, Strategies and Best Practices by PLI Press; a co-author of the ESI protocol chapter in the Federal Judges' Guide to Discovery by EDI; and a contributing author of Spoliation, an EDI guidebook. He is also an active member of The Sedona Conference Working Group on Electronic Document Retention and Production.
