Angelica is an attorney with the firm’s Class Action and Appellate Litigation Practice. Her experience includes conducting legal research and drafting pleadings, motions and discovery responses in federal and state court matters. Angelica has appeared in California state courts for motion hearings and case management conferences, and has managed all aspects of discovery, including large-scale document review and production. She has analyzed complex legal issues in public entity defense and medical malpractice matters and developed targeted approaches to liability, damages and procedural defenses.
Angelica earned her J.D. from Loyola Law School, where she was a staffer, then production editor for the International and Comparative Law Review. While in law school, she worked in several private firms, assisting with matters involving employment law, personal injury, product and premises liability, commercial litigation, and catastrophic injury defense. Immediately after graduation, Angelica was selected for the highly competitive American Board of Trial Advocates Fellowship Program, gaining substantive exposure to civil defense and plaintiff firms, and the Los Angeles County Superior Court.
