Kristine is an associate in the firm’s Class Action and Complex Litigation and Appellate practice groups. 

Before joining Shook, Kristine served as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Robert S. Huie of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of California and for the Honorable Autumn D. Spaeth of the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California. In those roles, she gained insight into the judicial process at various stages of litigation, including discovery, motion practice, trial and post-trial. She drafted judicial opinions on substantive motions in civil cases involving class actions, securities fraud, civil rights, and employment discrimination.   

Kristine also served in the U.S. Department of Justice Honors Program as nominations counsel for the Office of Legal Policy and as attorney advisor for the Executive Office of Immigration Review. Her experience working in the federal government gives her a well-rounded perspective when evaluating cases.
