Sayo practices in the firm’s General Liability Litigation Practice Group. She has experience researching, analyzing, and drafting legal memoranda on various litigation matters including employment and product liability claims.
Sayo earned her J.D. cum laude from William & Mary Law School, where she was on the staff of the William & Mary Journal of Race, Gender, & Social Justice. Sayo views being on the Law School’s national trial team as a highlight of her law school career, as she always knew she wanted to be a litigator. She competed in several competitions—including winning the awards for Best Advocate and the Best Closing Argument at her last mock trial tournament—and was one of 10 students inducted into the Order of Barristers upon graduation. Sayo also considers her work as a student advocate for The Lewis B. Puller, Jr. Veterans Benefits Clinic as a valuable and meaningful experience that allowed her to work with clients on real cases, serving those who served their country.
