Lauren is a seasoned litigator with years of legal experience gained in both the public and private sector. Lauren represents individuals and businesses in all aspects of complex litigation from discovery through trial. Her practice focuses on defending clients in complex civil litigation, with a focus on product liability, premises liability, general liability, liquor liability and toxic exposure claims. She has also handled matters involving wrongful death, constitutional claims, subrogation issues and other high-stakes disputes. Lauren has served as first- and second-chair trial counsel for numerous trials throughout her career in Massachusetts, Connecticut and the District of Columbia and she has extensive mediation experience. Lauren’s focus throughout her career has been in effectively humanizing companies as a means of achieving the best possible outcome for her national and global clients.
Lauren began her legal career as a Captain in the United States Army Judge Advocate General’s Corps, serving as a claims attorney, legal assistance attorney and Special Assistant United States Attorney. In those roles, she investigated and negotiated civil claims on behalf of the government, advised service members, retirees and their dependents on a wide range of legal issues, and prosecuted criminal offenses in federal court. Following her government service, Lauren transitioned to the private sector most recently spending years as a partner and director at a highly regarded civil defense firm in Boston. While working in the private sector, Lauren continued her military service in the Massachusetts Army National Guard Judge Advocate General’s Corps serving as Trial Counsel, 151st Regional Support Group MAARNG, Mobilization Day Soldier before she was honorably discharged.
