Liz is a litigator in Shook’s General Liability Litigation Group. She represents business clients throughout the cycle of litigation.
Liz earned her J.D. from Creighton University School of Law, where she was the executive editor of the International and Comparative Law Journal and gained valuable litigation experience as a legal intern for the Missouri Public Defender’s Office. She also worked as a Shook summer associate, where she assisted with complex litigation matters, including product liability and commercial disputes. Before entering law school, Liz was the director of Legislative Affairs at the Kansas Department of Health and Environment, representing and negotiating on behalf of the agency on key priorities for the agency and administration. In this role, Liz drafted legislation and successfully led a coalition and budget strategy to place eight bills into statute.
