Jeff's practice focuses on the defense of pharmaceutical and medical device manufacturers in product liability litigation in federal and state courts throughout the United States. He has represented such clients as Bayer Corporation, Bausch & Lomb, Boston Scientific and Johnson & Johnson. 

Jeff is a leading authority nationally in the tracking of litigation data in product liability mass torts. He is currently handling the case intake data management role in several litigations involving hundreds of thousands of plaintiffs and unfiled claimants. Jeff manages teams that process information received from pleadings and discovery responses, and over the past 15 years he has developed a state-of-the-art system that allows Shook to prepare data in a cost-efficient manner for his clients and their other co-national counsel to use in various facets of their litigations (e.g., MDL, JCCP and PCCP court hearings, dispositive motions, setting insurance reserves, SEC filings, board of director meetings and developing and implementing resolution programs).
