Larry focuses his practice on the analysis of medical and scientific issues and the development of medical and scientific expertise for the defense of product liability cases in Europe, Asia, Latin America, the Middle East and Africa.

He has recently assisted national counsel with medical and scientific issues and consulting experts in litigation and regulatory proceedings in Italy, Israel, Argentina, Brazil, Russia, Germany and France. He has also recently handled active matters in several Asian countries.

Before joining Shook, Larry worked as a commercial litigation associate in Miami, Florida. Thereafter, he worked as an attorney/policy analyst at Tarleton State University, where he focused on scientific issues in the context of environmental regulation. He has published several articles and made conference presentations on water and air pollution. He has more recently published on the topic of lung cancer causation in litigation.
