Sarah is a member of Shook’s highly lauded Class Action and Appellate Litigation Practice. She brings pre-trial litigation and judicial extern experience to her position as an associate in Shook’s Orange County office, serving clients nationally.

At her previous firm, Sarah was part of a litigation team advocating for companies facing complex matters involving California’s Proposition 65, false advertising class actions, product liability, business disputes and breach of contract claims. Specifically, she was responsible for a number of pre-trial matters including drafting demurrers, answers, consent judgments, mediation briefs and arbitration demands. With an eye for detail, Sarah engaged in discovery requests and reviews and oversaw document reviewers and an e-discovery vendor.

While a law student, Sarah was a senior associate editor for the San Diego Journal of Climate and Energy Law. She also served as a judicial extern to the Honorable Larry Alan Burns of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of California. In this role, she researched and drafted orders for California’s Consumer Legal Remedies Act (CLRA) and Unfair Competition Law (UCL) claims. She gained valuable experience observing court proceedings and regularly interacted with the judge and clerks.
