Before law school, he earned a Master of Business Administration from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business. Earlier in his career, Ty worked for a major food-packaging manufacturer. He rose in the corporation quickly, starting in purchasing where he strategically negotiated contracts to buy raw materials for manufacturing plants across the country. He then served in a project management role and led cross-functional teams to oversee the onboarding of new business. Eventually Ty worked in sales management where he led a team of sales representatives in growing the region’s sales and profitability. He was responsible for $17 million in sales revenue in a six-state region.
