Evan Hastings

Evan focuses his practice on patent preparation and prosecution, counseling clients on U.S. and international patent matters involving mechanical and electromechanical technologies. He has handled more than 200 patent matters, including more than 90 patentability analyses, non-provisional applications and substantive Office Action responses, and advises clients on drafting strategy, staged filing approaches and cost-efficient portfolio development. 

Evan has served as lead attorney on patent matters involving structural assemblies, UAV systems, consumer devices and integrated hardware platforms, and drafted and prosecuted patent applications for unmanned aerial systems, satellite technologies, advanced communications hardware and autonomous defense platforms.
