Duresa works in the Intellectual Property Practice Group. A graduate of Emory University School of Law, Duresa excelled in moot court competitions, winning Best Oral Advocate in the Thurgood Marshall Moot Court Competition. He was also a law clerk for the Los Angeles City Attorney’s Office, where he collaborated with senior associates on legal strategies in preparation of litigation.
Duresa earned a business administration degree from La Sierra University while working as an assistant director for advocacy for Oromo Legacy, where he conducted legal research regarding international relations and political prisoners as well as conducted fundraising efforts in 13 communities across America, ultimately raising $450,000 for the organization.
