Brayden brings his education and experience in mechanical engineering to his intellectual property work as a patent analyst. His patent work has involved drafting claim amendments and office action responses to be sent to USPTO, performing Freedom to Operate analysis, drafting a provisional patent application for a new product for a major footwear and apparel company, and locating unclaimed novel elements that would put applications in condition for allowance in a plurality of instances. His experience includes prototyping, product design and design engineering. Before coming to Shook, Brayden worked as a refrigeration designer and as a field engineering intern for a construction engineering firm.
