Joshua is an associate in the Intellectual Property Practice Group. Before coming to Shook, Joshua worked as an intellectual property law clerk, an intellectual property litigation clerk and as a registered patent agent. He earned his J.D. from the University of Houston Law Center, where he was on the board of the Houston Law Review.
Joshua earned a B.S. degree in chemistry at Xavier University of Louisiana, where he developed a project to synthesize polysiloxane solid polymer electrolyte functionalized with allyl cyanide groups as a part of his undergraduate research. Joshua uses his scientific intelligence and experience to assist clients with the science behind their intellectual property and patent legal issues.
