Jason Jacobs is an associate in the firm’s Class Action & Appellate Litigation group in Orange County. He represents clients in complex litigation transactional matters, with particular experience in business transactions, compliance, commercial disputes, professional liability including medical and legal malpractice, construction defect and product liability. His work primarily focuses on client advisory, strategic and contracts-based work.
Before joining Shook, Jason served as relationship partner for two automotive manufacturers in California warranty litigation and as coordinating counsel for a major motorcycle manufacturer in litigation arising from recalls involving a top-selling model. He also provided technical analysis of automotive and product liability claims, advised on compliance, investigations, and claims handling and managed a broad civil litigation caseload.
Jason also brings in-house experience advising on business and legal affairs, including commercial contracts, employment, intellectual property, risk and compliance, data privacy and security and production safety. In those roles, he counseled stakeholders on workplace safety compliance and investigations, contract strategy, procurement and regulatory requirements, while supporting business operations and managing disputes.
