Mark is a seasoned litigator who defends Fortune 500 companies, professional sports teams, stadiums, hospitals and schools. He has litigated complex cases in more than 20 states. His experience allows him to identify cases suitable for early resolution, as well as those that require strategic litigation and trial. He excels in organizational leadership, project planning and team management.

In and out of the courtroom, Mark brings a rare combination of skills, both as a litigator and an entrepreneur. He has tried more than 60 jury and bench trials, including numerous first-chair roles in civil cases. He has argued 14 cases before the Missouri Court of Appeals and the Missouri Supreme Court, consistently advocating for successful outcomes in personal injury, insurance litigation, probate, and a variety of other civil matters. Notably, Mark served as lead counsel in an $18 million will contest involving the brother of the late rock musician, Prince.
Mark handles all phases of civil litigation from inception through trial. 

Passionate about helping his community, Mark served as a board member for St. Luke’s Hospital of Kansas City’s Crittenton Children’s Center, the largest children’s psychiatric facility in Missouri. He also co-founded RISEKC, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that provides African American men with scholarships and vocational mentoring to support careers in health care. Additionally, Mark created four childcare centers in Kansas that serve more than 200 children each month and employ more than 50 staff members. He has a deep understanding of business operations from concept to execution, including construction and navigating government processes to complete projects.
