Wendi is a seasoned transactional attorney practicing in the areas of intellectual property law, technology transactions and general commercial law. She has deep experience in technology licensing, data privacy law and strategic partnerships. Her experience includes cloud computing, mergers and acquisitions, compliance, software licensing, OEM agreements, partner and channel strategy, antitrust and complex escalations.
During her legal career, Wendi has served as in-house counsel for four public high-tech companies and has held roles working in product development support, international channel management, sales and marketing and professional services. Wendi has worked at a virtual law firm specializing in technology transactions; was a senior attorney for Microsoft Corporation; senior corporate counsel for LSI, an Avago Technologies company; assistant general counsel for Liberate Technologies; and senior corporate counsel for Wind River Systems, Inc.
Wendi has also worked as a legal generalist covering a large range of issues from employment law to product development, securities work, marketing programs, intellectual property due diligence, drafting and negotiation support for the purchase of a number of large and small companies, as well as day-today global sales support for transactions. Before becoming an attorney, Wendi worked for six years as a statistical assistant for the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) in Paris, France.
Wendi is known for her strong leadership and legal prowess, her analytical skills, business acumen and industry knowledge.
