Estela focuses on the preparation and prosecution of utility patent applications. In particular, Estela’s patent practice is focused in conducting in-depth analysis of communications with the United States Patent and Trademark Office and providing clients with the best possible patent coverage for their inventions.
Estela’s advanced educational career gives her the scientific insights to understand her client’s products and patents. During her undergraduate experience, Estela obtained bachelor’s degrees in both chemical engineering and chemistry while conducting research in the area of heterogeneous catalysts. She received her doctorate degree in organic chemistry, where she specialized in polymer science. During her doctoral studies, her research focused on polymeric nanoparticles for drug delivery applications, with further studies in a wide array of polymerization techniques and mechanistic studies.
