Sarah is an Associate Attorney specializing in intellectual property law, with a focus on patent prosecution and counseling. She represents clients in all aspects of the preparation and prosecution of U.S. and international patent applications across a variety of technological domains.

Sarah earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees in chemistry before earning her J.D. with an emphasis in intellectual property. Her graduate research at the University of Missouri involved in vitro characterization of metal-binding proteins and transition metal homeostasis in plants, and she also taught undergraduate courses in general chemistry. During law school, she served as a legal extern for the University of Kansas Medical Center, where she conducted patent searches on emerging medical technologies and drafted summaries of inventions for marketing purposes. 

Sarah is committed to assisting clients in acquiring, protecting, and enforcing their intellectual property rights. Her extensive knowledge and experience allow her to navigate complex patent matters with precision and proficiency.

Originally from a small town in rural Missouri, Sarah values the balance between her professional life and family time. She enjoys spending her free time with her husband, two daughters, and their English bulldog
