Daniel is an experienced attorney and litigator with a practice focused on high-stakes, complex commercial disputes involving clients in the manufacturing, technology, and financial sectors. He has represented clients in a wide range of matters in federal and state courts, from pleadings through trial and appeal. His experience spans product liability, class action, toxic/mass tort, complex contract disputes, and financial products litigation. Daniel has represented various prominent domestic and international manufacturers and distributors in product liability and class action litigation. In addition to his litigation work, Daniel counsels clients on drafting and negotiating complex agreements and assessing business risks.
Earlier in his career, Daniel was a senior associate at an international law firm, representing leading companies and international financial institutions in the defense and prosecution of their most substantial matters.
Daniel received his J.D. from the Vanderbilt University Law School, where he served as an associate editor on the Vanderbilt Law Review and received the Editor’s Award for outstanding contribution to the Law Review.

Defended global chemical manufacturer against environmental product liability claims premised on alleged groundwater contamination.
Represented manufacturer of solar-grade polysilicon in contract disputes with defaulting customers under long-term supply contracts; obtained $793 million summary judgment award, subsequently affirmed by the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals.
Defended European bank from $1.5 billion federal court action alleging RICO violations, fraud, aiding and abetting fraud, conversion, tortious interference, and other common law tort claims; obtained complete dismissal, affirmed on appeal.
