Croft Authors Article on Nanotechnology Regulation in Europe and United States

Shook, Hardy & Bacon London Partner Sarah Croft has assessed developments in nanomaterials regulation and their product liability implications in an article for the July/August 2014 issue of The In-House Lawyer. In “Product liability and nanotechnology: an update,” Croft describes the rise of nanotechnology in textiles, cosmetics and food products and the regulations that the United States and Australia have adopted to alert consumers to the use of nanomaterials. She further documents the European Union’s position on nanotechnology and the actions taken by individual European countries to regulate the use of nanomaterials in consumer products.
