Shook Partner Bart Eppenauer to Speak at IPO Spring Summit

Shook, Hardy & Bacon Partner Bart Eppenauer will be speaking at the Intellectual Property Owners Association (IPO) 2018 Spring Summit. The summit will take place March 7-8, 2018, at the Renaissance Hotel in Washington, D.C.

Eppenauer is presenting the session titled “Best Practices for Managing Relationships with Corporate Clients,” on Thursday, March 8, 2018, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. This session details how to get ahead of corporate clients’ needs and provide tips on how to better manage relationships with corporate clients keeping in mind increasing demands for timely billing, periodic reviews, and producing more for less.

Established in 1972, the IPO is a trade association for owners of patents, trademarks, copyrights and trade secrets.  IPO serves all intellectual property owners in all industries and all fields of technology. The IPO IP Owners Spring Summit focuses on corporate IP best practices, offers parallel sessions for in-house and outside counsel and ends with a joint ethics session for both in-house and outside counsel.

Eppenauer is the Managing Partner for Shook’s Seattle office and Microsoft’s former Chief Patent Counsel. His practice at Shook focuses on strategic IP counseling and analysis, pre-litigation and litigation strategy, complex multilateral IP transactions and license agreements and IP policy advocacy.
