Schwartz Talks About Driverless Cars and Liability
Shook Partner and Co-Chair of the Public Policy Practice Group Victor Schwartz talks about driverless cars in a video featured on The Federalist Society website. In the video, titled “Driverless Cars: Crashes, Damages, and Liability,” Schwartz discusses fault damage rules and suggests that current liability rules will stall innovation unless they are changed to account for this emerging technology.
Schwartz has spoken about the legal implications of driverless cars for the Federalist Society in a previous video and in a panel for the Capitol Hill Chapter of the society. He was also featured in a seminar for George Washington University about the legal landscape of driverless cars.
