Shook Announces Class of 14 New Partners

Shook, Hardy & Bacon has promoted 14 attorneys to partner effective March 1, 2020. The following new partners serve clients in Shook’s core areas of health, science and technology and reflect the rich talent within the firm. Many of these new partners have accumulated multiple victories in courtrooms across the country and are active in pro bono services.

Jennifer Artman defends clients in the automotive, trucking, construction and insurance industries in both state and federal courts nationwide. 

Jordan Bergsten focuses on complex intellectual property litigation between competitors in patent law. 

Robert Chisholm focuses on intellectual property prosecution and counseling, particularly in patent-related matters for a wide array of technologies, including the pharmaceutical, life science, medical diagnostic and chemical arts. 

Lauren Douville focuses on complex patent, trademark and copyright litigation in high tech industries including telecommunications, video-on-demand systems, computer software, power grid systems and optical sensing techniques. 

Brent Dwerlkotte has extensive experience handling appellate, class action, mass tort/environmental, and business matters for a variety of industries including health care, environmental, consumer products and railroads

Eric Hobbs focuses on complex business, commercial and product liability litigation for clients in a variety of industries.

Laura Lawson represents design professionals, contractors and owners as part of her construction law practice and also defends the manufacturers of medical products.

Stephanie McGraw focuses her practice on complex product liability, commercial and business litigation.  

Jessica McKinney litigates commercial and employment law cases before state and federal courts, arbitration panels and administrative agencies throughout the country. 

Melissa Plunkett represents defendants in consumer and product liability cases for a variety of industries, including tobacco and pharmaceutical. 

Daniel Rohner practices nationally, concentrating on complex commercial matters relating to employment, business torts and contract disputes.  

Andrea Steele defends companies in product liability litigation nationwide with a focus on the medical device, pharmaceutical and agriculture industries.

Ben Walther advocates for clients in business litigation and product liability matters and focuses on the pharmaceutical, medical device, automotive, energy and construction industries. 

Jason Ward assists clients facing discovery-related challenges in complex product liability matters and has extensive experience advising clients on document management procedures and best practices for defensible disposition of records, document collection, review and production.
