Law360 Names Four Shook Partners to Editorial Boards

Law360 has chosen four Shook partners to serve on the following legal publication’s 2021 editorial boards.

Members of Law360’s editorial advisory boards serve a one-year term and must apply and be chosen yearly to serve.

New to membership this year are Duncan and Sastre. Duncan is co-chair of the Class Action and Appellate Litigation Practice Groups and focuses her practice in constitutional, class action and energy law, prosecuting and defending challenges to state and federal legislation. She will be an advisor for the Appellate Editorial Board. Sastre is co-chair of the Product Liability Litigation Practice Group and is a trial lawyer who has first-chaired national, high-stakes cases for product manufacturers. She is often called upon to act as trial counsel in bellwether cases. Sastre will be providing her insights for the publication’s Product Liability Editorial Board.

Returning to their editorial boards are Concepción and Lawson. Concepción is chair of Shook’s Global Arbitration Practice and represents parties in international arbitrations in a number of industries. He will be providing thought leadership for the International Arbitration Editorial Board for a third consecutive year. Lawson is a co-leader of a Shook construction law team providing outside general counsel services, and represents design professionals, contractors and owners as part of her construction law practice. She will be serving on the Construction Editorial Board for a second consecutive term.

Attorneys appointed to the Law360 editorial boards must go through a stringent nomination and vetting process. Selected attorneys communicate with editors and reporters off the record, offering insight into legal and business trends and helping to direct and shape news coverage. Board members also serve as on-the-record sources throughout the year.
