Shook Partner to Speak on Behavioral Health at Managed Care Forum

Shook Partner Tom Sullivan will be speaking at the 12^th Annual Advanced Forum on Managed Care Disputes and Litigation to be held June 9 – 10. The Forum assists in-house counsel and business executives from managed care organizations to prepare for and respond to the many changes occurring in the health care industry.

Sullivan will be co-presenter of “Behavioral Health and Non-Traditional Therapies: Emerging Considerations for Scope of Coverage,” June 10, 9:15 a.m. CDT. Topics covered include the status of the Mental Health Parity and Addiction Equity Act and implications for out-of-network related disputes.

Life sciences and health care are a significant aspect Sullivan’s practice. He has worked with clients operating throughout the health care supply chain, including manufacturers, pharmacies, PBMs, and health insurers on matters ranging from product liability cases to class actions and false claims act litigation.
