Seven Shook Attorneys Listed in Capital Pro Bono Honor Roll
The District of Columbia (D.C.) Courts have named seven Shook attorneys to the courts’ 2025 Capital Pro Bono Honor Roll. To be included, lawyers must complete over 50 hours of pro bono services.
The following Shook attorneys were listed.
The D.C. Courts established the Capital Pro Bono Honor Roll in 2011, with support from the D.C. Access to Justice Commission and the D.C. Bar Pro Bono Center. It continues to recognize the contributions made by lawyers providing pro bono services to those who cannot afford counsel, as well as to disadvantaged small businesses and community-based nonprofits.
Shook provides more than 38,000 pro bono hours each year, donating its experience and resources to communities across the United States. To institutionalize this ongoing commitment, Shook Partner Scot Fishman chairs the firm’s pro bono committee and oversees a team of full-time pro bono attorneys and staff to administer the program’s day-to-day activities.
