Rhakeem’s nationwide practice focuses on defending clients in product liability, premises, commercial and general liability disputes in state and federal courts. Rhakeem represents product manufacturers and service providers across many industries, including security and alarm services, consumer products and medical devices. Rhakeem has experience in all key phases of litigation: initial case assessment, legal research, pleadings, preparing and responding to discovery, drafting dispositive motions, alternative dispute resolutions and trial preparation. 

Beyond his everyday practice, Rhakeem devotes a significant portion of his time to pro bono work. He is dedicated to helping individuals navigate landlord-tenant disputes and complex immigration processes, including eviction defense, lease disputes, asylum claims and removal proceedings. 

Rhakeem earned his J.D. from Emory University School of Law. During law school, Rhakeem interned at a Fortune 100 biopharmaceutical company, where he worked with in-house corporate legal governance and operations legal teams to provide legal research and draft legal documents. Rhakeem also served as the head student ambassador of BARBRI and as the transfer student representative of the Black Law Student Association Executive Board. His legal prowess was recognized when he excelled in his performance during Emory’s Kessler-Edison Program for Trial Techniques.
