Bobbie’s practice includes a wide variety of litigation matters, including product liability, intellectual property and business litigation. She has represented clients in state and federal courts throughout California involving a variety of products and intellectual property, including medical devices and treatments, automobiles, automotive component parts, motorcycles, drug-test kits, farming equipment and other types of machinery.

Bobbie excels in defending the motor vehicle industry and has defended automotive manufacturers in cases involving handling/stability, body structure performance, seat design, seat belts, and inflatable restraints. With an educational and career background in biology and injury studies, including experience as a staff engineer in accident reconstruction, Bobbie is adept at learning the technical issues involved in product design and performance. She uses a results-oriented approach to handling complex issues that provides concentrated representation from claim evaluation and resolution through trial.

Bobbie obtained her J.D. and certification in high technology law from Santa Clara University School of Law, where she served as an articles editor for the Santa Clara Law Review and spent a summer in Munich studying the rules and procedures of the European Patent Office under Professor Donald Chisum. She is a sustaining member of the Product Liability Advisory Council (PLAC), and has been actively involved in the planning for the organization’s annual fall conferences.
