Melina focuses her practice on class action and complex litigation matters. She primarily defends leading carmakers in automotive product liability and warranty cases. She also handles complex business disputes, including breach of contract and insurance-related litigation. Melina defends clients in both federal and state courts as well as in MDLs and state-court-coordinated proceedings, and has experience handling matters at every phase, from pretrial counseling and motion practice to appeals.

Melina is a graduate of the UCLA School of Law, where she served as an associate editor for the UCLA Law Review and as a staff editor for the UCLA Women’s Law Journal. While in law school, she clerked for the Contra Costa County District Attorney and the Los Angeles County District Attorney, where she worked on matters related to consumer protection and environmental regulation compliance.
