Zach is an attorney in the Intellectual Property Litigation Practice Group, who is admitted to practice law in the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. His practice focus on all areas of intellectual property, but his background in software engineering gives him special insight into patent, trade secret, and copyright work.
Zach earned his J.D., with distinction, from the University of Iowa College of Law, where he was an articles editor for the Iowa Law Review. He earned his undergraduate degree, magna cum laude, in software engineering from Iowa State University, where he gained practical experience in software development through design projects and internships. Additionally, Zach worked as a legislative secretary in the Iowa Senate, where he managed legislation through the committee process.
