Natalie is an intellectual property attorney with more than 14 years of in-house counsel and Am Law 100 law firm experience. She develops, manages and protects domestic and international trademark, copyright and domain name portfolios, as well as supports intellectual property aspects of mergers, acquisitions and other transactions. 

Natalie’s experience spans a broad range of industries and products. In addition to managing intellectual property portfolios, she has assisted and counseled clients with branding, rebranding and advertising issues for corporate clients, including Fortune 500 companies in the retail, clothing, health care, hospitality, sports, financial services and technology sectors. Natalie has also served as in-house counsel for a national hospitality and real estate company where she was responsible for intellectual property, marketing, licensing, franchising and technology matters.

With her undergraduate degree in nursing and experience working as a registered nurse, Natalie brings a unique intelligence to intellectual property law. Before joining Shook, Natalie served as general counsel for a group of health care and health care technology companies. In this role, she counseled and supported health care executives, pharmacies, laboratories and physicians throughout the U.S. on a wide scope of health care, franchise, corporate, employment, contract negotiation and risk mitigation matters.
