Missouri Lawyers Weekly Selects Adams as Influential Appellate Advocate for 2020
Missouri Lawyers Media, publisher of Missouri Lawyers Weekly, selected Shook Co-Chair of the General Liability Litigation Practice Group Rob Adams as an Influential Appellate Advocate of 2020. The annual honor is awarded to the lawyers behind the most significant appellate decisions of the year.
Adams is being recognized in the category along with William Ray Price Jr. of Armstrong Teasdale for their winning “a long-awaited and closely divided ruling” in the Missouri Supreme Court “that prevented a new trial against their clients” in Sherrer v. Boston Scientific Corporation.
Adams and Price will be among 27 lawyers and judges to be honored at the Missouri Lawyers Awards in a virtual award ceremony Feb. 11. They will also be profiled in a special section of Missouri Lawyers Weekly.
Adams practices in the areas of product liability, intellectual property litigation, insurance coverage litigation and commercial litigation. He has first-chaired more than 30 jury trials in several different federal and state courts and has made numerous arguments in appellate courts throughout the country. Adams has been recognized repeatedly by Chambers USA, is a fellow in the American College of Trial Lawyers and the International Academy of Trial Lawyers and is listed in the Best Lawyers of America. He was honored previously as “Missouri Lawyer of the Year” by Missouri Lawyers Media.
