Legal Strategies in Disclaimers, Warnings and Arbitration for Consumer Packaged Goods

Shook Partner Naoki Kaneko will be a panelist for “Litigation: Caveats on Small Font for Big Impact─Legal Strategies in Disclaimers, Warnings and Arbitration,” at the Consumer Brands CPG Forum, February 19. Kaneko will be one of three panelists speaking on real-world examples of how effective fine print can shift liability, limit damages and ensure enforceability of arbitration provisions.
 
The CPG Forum takes place February 18–20, 2026, at the OMNI PGA Frisco Resort in Frisco, Texas. Senior legal professionals in the consumer packaged goods industry from household and personal care to food and beverage products will be in attendance.
