Nia is an associate in the firm’s General Liability Litigation Practice Group. She has handled all aspects of litigation, including the trial and appellate phases of cases in state and federal courts.
Nia has successfully obtained defense verdicts as second-chair trial counsel in medical matters throughout Georgia. Her experience includes defending hospitals, prominent health care organizations and institutions, physicians and other health care professionals in every medical specialty. These cases were high-stakes, complex civil litigation matters involving catastrophic injuries and/or wrongful death. Nia has also handled auto and trucking accidents, and premises liability, and product liability claims.
Nia earned her J.D. from Howard University School of law, where she received a CALI Award for Civil Trial Advocacy. During law school she also interned for the Honorable Craig S. Iscoe for the District of Columbia Superior Court, gaining insight into civil trials and other court proceedings.
Nia is committed to giving back to the Atlanta area through her volunteer and community involvement. She has provided pro-bono representation to individuals in landlord/tenant and children and family matters.
