Shook Of Counsel Obtains CIPP/US Accreditation
Shook Of Counsel Chad Coots has obtained Certified Information Privacy Professional/United States (CIPP/US) accreditation from the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP). The CIPP/US is the leading credential for data protection professionals in the U.S., reinforcing knowledge of and experience with a comprehensive approach to the protection of personal data and data flows.
Coots’ practice focuses on the defense of pharmaceutical and medical device manufacturers in complex product liability litigation in federal and state courts throughout the U.S. His experience in the firm includes eDiscovery issues concerning data privacy and protection, and he has worked on privacy issues involving data protection regulations in the European Union, Latin America, North America and Australia.
The CIPP is considered the global standard in privacy and data security certification.
